Saturday Stuff - Laptop Sleeve
The amount of work that gets done on my sofa, hotel bed or airline seat tray is immeasurable. I can’t imagine being chained to the office by a computer!
The flexibility of mobile computing, however, comes with the danger of losing everything with one less-than-gentle bump. I was unfortunately reminded of this when my laptop fell out of my bag and took a tumble down a flight of stairs last fall.
I didn’t worry too much when the motherboard and hard drive were busted since I had backed up my data just days before. Until my backup drive fried the same week. Bummer.
I’m not much for the looks of typical laptop bags (although some are considerably more attractive than the original black canvas or pleather options) but with the Built Laptop Sleeve, I can use any tote bag and still protect my computer. They’re also checkpoint safe so you can send them through airport security scanners.
These colorful neoprene sleeves come in a variety of sizes and patterns to match any personality. At $20 to $45, it’s a good investment for an extra bit of protection.
