Pretty lucky.
I knew I was going to work in advertising in the seventh grade. I participated in an ad contest and didn’t win, so I figured I had better go to school and major in it in order to learn how to do it well. I went to FSU, got into its very competitive ad program, interned at Disney, and then came home to sell classified ads. What?
I was an advertising account rep for a few years, took a job as advertising and media relations director for one of the world’s largest law firms, and developed an agency inside one of the world’s largest IT distributors.
When I started Pinstripe Marketing, I was on a mission to help professional services firms grow their practices. I enjoy working with lawyers, accountants, doctors, architects, engineers and technology professionals. I guess I just like working with smart people.
I love marketing and can’t imagine working in any other profession. I consider myself a generalist with extensive experience in strategy, advertising, direct marketing, event planning, public relations, web/digital marketing, and more. I work with a talented team of people, my clients are brilliant, and I get to have fun at work. Oh, and I have a great husband and a hilarious dog. How lucky am I?
